About us

Our family has been coming to Ramatuelle for over four decades. The author of this page, as a 6-year-old, has already climbed in the old landmark of Ramatuelle, the elm dating from 1860 (l'Ormeau). The elm was felled in 1983 due to an illness and replaced by an olive tree. It is still part of the Ramatuelle emblem.

We know both the village and its inhabitants and the surrounding area like the back of our hands. The fact that we have been coming to this place again and again for decades says a lot.

At that time I was brought to Ramatuelle by my parents. My father, a passionate hobby architect, was looking for a small ruin, which he wanted to successively build or rebuild. He was able to realize this dream here in Ramatuelle. For years, he used every moment of his vacation to create this gem.

A friend of our family, a Swiss architect, also based in Ramatuelle, told my father that he would build "a house more typical Provencal than Provencal". He kept his word.
